Service Description

Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. This course teaches high-quality CPR for adults/children/infants, the AHA Chain of Survival, the importance of early use of an AED, effective ventilations using a barrier device, relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for adults and infants, and the importance of multi-rescuer resuscitation.
